Bio
Born and raised on the southside of San Antonio, TX. Mario Moreno, began singing at a very early age. Raised on the likes of Merle Haggard, George Strait, Johnny Rodriguez, Keith Whitley, and countless other country music greats, Mario, took on an early appreciation for true country music. The youngest of three siblings Mario, was influenced early on by his own father Mario Moreno Sr, who sang and played guitar. In July, of 2010, Mario Moreno, began his music career and started performing with his band (The Smoking Guns). Mario, began performing in and around the state of Texas, playing the San Antonio, Stock Show & Rodeo, numerous weddings, and some of San Antonio's popular country venues. While he continues to grow a great social media fan base following, Mario, also continues to write new songs. With the desire to be one of the best in country music, and with the mindset of hard work and dedication always in the forefront. The boundaries seem to be endless for this very talented vocalist. With new music continuing to be released a promising music career seems bright for this native from the southside of San Antonio.
